OPERATION BREAKTHROUGH

Members of the KC Strikers 94/95 Navy team recently visited Operation Breakthrough, an organzation in Kansas City, Mo., that helps children who are living in poverty develop to their fullest potential by providing a safe, loving and educational environment.  The team collected and donated several bags of children's clothing as well as food items for the pantry, but the most beneficial part of the expereince was the time the players spent with the children.  The players were able to interact with dozens of children both individually and in small groups, and had a great time playing in the courtyard.  For more information on Operation Breakthrough and to see how you can help, please visit www.operationbreakthrough.org.
