KC Strikers Coaching Staff
Richard "Wolfie"
Thompson
Wolfie attended the University of Wales Cardiff where obtained a
degree in Human Movement Studies (Kinesiology), while also representing
the Welsh Universities soccer team.He completed his
MLA at Baker University in 2007. Wolfie has worked
at a youth coach for Cardiff City Football Club prior to moving to Kansas
City in 1999. He holds a UEFA 'B' coaching license
and a NSCAA National Diploma(2006), Advanced National Diploma(2007) &
Premier Diploma (2010).
Jamie Kelly
Jamie Kelly has been the assistant Varsity coach at Shawnee
Mission East for the last three years, and was the JV coach at Marshall
High School for two years. This year he adds JV Boys coach at
Shawnee Mission East to his list of responsibilities. He attended Missouri Valley College where
he played for four years. Jamie has received his USSF National 'D' License
and NSCAA National Diploma(2006).
Beth Wheeler ;
Olathe East Assistant Varsity coach,
Head JV coach. Beth played at Olathe East and MU and holds a USSF 'D'
licence(2009) and also coaches kansas ODP. Won 2 state championships
playing at OE, high school All-American in 2004. Club team won 5 state
championships
Carlos McField;
Currently the High
school coach at Sacred heart, and former assistant high school coach at
Pembroke hill, winning 9 district championships, and a state
championship. Carlos holds the USSF 'E' licence and NSCAA Advance
regional diploma.
Carrie Fry; Joined the club in
2008, and has a USSF 'E' licence(2009). Carrie won 2 state championships
with SME, and holds the Kansas HS record for goals in a season, High
school All American in 2001,carrie also played at the University of
Indiana.
Dan Brown;
Played at Olathe
North High school, and on state & regional winning teams with club team Udinese.
Dan completed both USSF 'E' & 'D' licences in 2009, along with the NSCAA
state diploma.
Jillian Carroll;
Has a USSF 'E' licence(2009),
and played soccer at St.Thomas Aquinas, before going on to play at the
University of Northern Iowa.
Oran Andrews ;
Graduated from St.Thomas Aquinas and played college soccer at UMKC. Oran
obtained his USSF 'D' licence in 2009
Steve Miller ;
Joined the KC Strikers in 2008.
Ramin Esfandiary
; Joined the KC
Strikers in 2008, and holds a USSF 'E' & 'D' licence.
Carl Eaton;
Has been with the club for 5 years, formerly with kcfc.
Chris Powell ;
Chris joins us from Chicago, he holds a USSF 'D' licence and NSCAA
National Diploma
