KC Strikers 97/98 Athletics

This has been a successful squad since forming in the fall of 2007.  Starting in Division 4, the team has steadily improved and moved to our current spot in Division 2 where we finished the Fall of 2008 with a record of 6 – 2.   We play in several tournaments during the year and have 1 championship to show in “B” division (H.I.T.).  We are now playing the “A” division at tournaments and recently made the semi-finals at the Ozark Coca-Cola/ Dr. Pepper Cup in Springfield losing to the eventual champ 3 – 2.   We are a focused squad who likes to play hard and have fun.   If you fit that description and want to learn from a great coach in Carl Eaton, feel free to check us out at the try-out times listed elsewhere on the KC Strikers web page.  For additional information, there are contact numbers on our team page.

The 9798 boys presented our senior boys with T-shirts and gifts at senior day.

2007 HIT champions..........

The 97/98B Athletics took first place at the 2007 HIT.

Finishing in first place in their group, with wins of 4-0, 4-1, and 4-1

the boys went on to win the final 3-1.

Congratulations on their first tournament win.
